Keisha Branch, Grades K-4 School Counselor
Mrs. Keisha Branch is entering her second year with Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS). She has previously worked in Prince George's County Public Schools, where she served in the capacity as an Elementary School Counselor for ten years. In her fifteen-year tenure in education, she also served as a Special Education Teacher and Autism Support Staff. As the School Counselor serving students in Kindergarten through 4th grade, it is her goal to provide all students access to a comprehensive counseling program that provides developmentally appropriate and data-driven activities. In collaboration with the school community, she hopes to bridge support by focusing on students' social-emotional needs to develop future-forward thinkers; and productive and global citizens.

Jessica Harris, Grades 5-8 School Counselor
Ms. Harris is joining us for her second year as a PreK–8 School Counselor at Jefferson Houston IB K-8 School and fifth year in ACPS. Prior to becoming a PreK–8 Counselor, Ms. Harris served in High School as a mathematics teacher and school counselor for the last thirteen years respectively in North Carolina and Alexandria. She is a current instructor at the Northern Virginia Community College, where she teaches College Success Skills. She enjoys providing student support in the areas of academic achievement, career development, and social/emotional development, to ensure today’s students become the productive, well-adjusted adults of tomorrow.
