Your school social worker is here to support the daily emotional, social and behavioral needs of our students and families as well as promote student attendance.

Jeremy Patterson, the school social worker, has been with Alexandria City Public Schools since 2021 working at Jefferson Houston. His past social work experience includes working as a Juvenile Probation Officer for 10 plus years in Norfolk, VA and as a school social worker in Suffolk Public Schools. “I am your social worker. I may not be able to fix all your problems but I can promise you that you won’t have to face them alone.”
