Online tech tools to enhance learning

All classes have access to iPad carts and laptop carts, and use online technology tools to enhance learning, i.e. Google Classroom and Kahoot. Students in kindergarten through eighth grade participate in the Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) one-to-one technology initiative. Classes are equipped with SMART Boards and document cameras. 

Students in 1st through 5th grade not only learn how to navigate the Internet and use appropriate research tools during Library Encore class; they also learn computer programming using Dash and Dot robotics.
